Weston Chiropractic Clinic – Treatments & Adjustments

Chiropractic is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health.  There is an emphasis on manual treatments including spinal manipulation/adjustments (World Federation of Chiropractic 1999).

Treatment consists of very specific and precise “adjustments” of problem joints. The adjustments are done by hand and are not painful. Some of the treatment techniques produce the sound of a “click” or “pop” from the joint, which may be a new experience for the patient, yet harmless.

Our Story

Our clinic was established back in 1974. It was opened to patients and public for back, joint and health related treatments and has successfully treated people in North Somerset over the past 40 years. Some of the existing patients who attended back in 1974 for pain relief care, still attend our clinic for treatment when needed. We offer all of our patients, a warm welcome and up-to-date treatments and passionately apply our continued clinical global knowledge and expertise as Dr’s of Chiropractic.

Our mission, is to work with you and find the best and healthiest way forwards so you can be free from pain and regain the movement and better health and regain relief from pain and re-start doing the things that matter to you.

Dr.Lee Harvey
Dr.Lee HarveyBSc (Hons) MSc CCEP DC (Doctor of Chiropractic)
Lee decided to dedicate his career to the chiropractic profession after chiropractic treatment solved his daily headaches & neck pain. “I witnessed the frustration of not getting the results, and in my heart I knew that taking tablets was not the answer, I was blown away by the fast, life changing benefits from chiropractic care”.

Lee graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic with degree in Chiropractic science and then completed a Chiropractic Masters degree in 1998. He continues to improve his knowledge, gaining the qualifications below. Acupuncture Diploma Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner Activator Advanced Proficiency rated Chiropractor Hobbies include surfing, five a side football, tai chi, running and yoga. Lee was born in Weston Super Mare and returned home in 2002 to run his own clinic. Lee is kept very active with sport and his two children who now take all his free time. Lee has been able to further interests in postural alignment techniques, gained accreditation in acupuncture, and has combined this with traditional chiropractic practices to offer the best standards of care available. The Clinic in Weston-super-Mare is fully supported with a receptionist and trained staff. Lee is a member of the United Chiropractic Association and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
Dr. Richard Sutton

Richard’s first experience of Chiropractic care was in this very clinic, with Dr Jon Vine in 1990. At the time he suffered with ongoing low back, neck pain and headaches following a number of motorcycle racing injuries. “I had been through all the usual medical routes with no joy – I was starting to think that I was going to have to live with the pain!

I was amazed at the changes I experienced within a few short weeks. I realised the importance of good spinal health.” The impact upon his life was such that he decided to train as a Chiropractor in an effort to provide the same benefit he received. Richard went on to qualify from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic and went on to gain a Masters which was completed in 1998. Joining the team here at Weston Chiropractic having previously worked in the Bristol area for the past 15 years, Richard brings experience of helping a wide variety of conditions in all ages and backgrounds. “I love working as a Chiropractor – seeing the quality of an individual’s life improve by encouraging the body to heal itself is great!” He was brought up in Clevedon and is married with two children. His hobbies include: cycling, motorcycle riding, orienteering and eating. Richard is a member of the United Chiropractic Association and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
Benjamin
Benjamin(Doctor of Chiropractic)
Benjamin joined HALSA in 2023 after a move to the UK. Ben is from Gibraltar, he gained inspiration to become a Chiropractor from seeing patients improve after treatment sessions at his Fathers practice. Ben completed his studies in Bournemouth at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2023. Benjamin was the under 18’s squash champion in Gibraltar. During his spare time he also enjoys playing football, tennis and wakeboarding. Ben is multi-lingual as he is able to speak fluent in 3 different languages, English, Spanish and French. The Clinic in Weston-super-Mare is fully supported with a receptionist and trained staff. The Chiropractice is registered and a member of the United Chiropractic Association, registered with the General Chiropractic Council
Diane
Diane(Massage Therapist)
My name is Diane Carr, I have been working at Weston Chiropractic Clinic since January 2015 as a Massage Therapist and Receptionist. I am qualified to Itec Level 4 in Sports Massage, which covers deep tissue work and exercises to aid injury recovery. I am also qualified in Indian Head Massage and Hope Ear Candling which are both beneficial for people who suffer with migraines or headaches. I can work with patients in conjunction with chiropractic care or as stand alone or independent approach. I enjoy working as part of a team at the Clinic offering patients and clients the best in care. In my spare time I enjoy attending exercise classes at the gym, walking our dog, reading and spending time with friends and family.

I have been a beauty, massage and holistic therapist for over 30 years. I am a qualifed level 3 diploma, IHBC and VAI and can assist you with a wide range of treatments from deep tissue massages, reflexology, facials, waxing and much more. My passion is massage after qualifying in 1992 i have gone on to learn new skills including sports deep tissue and a variety of different techniques to aid every treatment. I continue to attend regular training and remains up-to-date with new treatments. I am also a qualified as a massage tutor.

I joined the clinic 21 Years ago when my son was just starting school and l am now a proud Nana to, my 3 year old granddaughter whom l look after on a Thursday afternoon and love every minute. In my spare time I enjoy long walks, cycling and gardening and abit of paddleboarding (on a warm day)
I absolutely love my job. The interaction with all the patients is so lovely and the clinic and staff are all so welcoming. I have seen such great results. My whole family come here to keep their bodies aligned and my granddaughter came when she was just a few weeks old! I can’t recommend Chiropractic enough!

I joined the team in March 2022 shortly after having my little girl. I was a patient of the clinic anyway and have recommended family and friends to see the Dr’s here at Weston Chiropractic clinic over time. When not working I enjoy spending time with my family on dog walks or days out together. I love working at the clinic as it’s very friendly and welcoming.
