Chiropractic is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health. There is an emphasis on manual treatments including spinal manipulation/adjustments (World Federation of Chiropractic 1999).

Treatment consists of very specific and precise “adjustments” of problem joints. The adjustments are done by hand and are not painful. Some of the treatment techniques produce the sound of a “click” or “pop” from the joint, which may be a new experience for the patient, yet harmless.
Our Clinic
There has been a Chiropractic clinic at Sunnyside Road since the mid seventies. The Victorian building is on the south side of town very close to the sea front and was totally refurbished in 2008. With the following improvements made.
